Whether it’s a cup of tea made in a teapot, the chance to bake and eat some cake, a whole hour of uninterrupted reading, crochet or puzzling, a long phonecall to a friend or baking and sharing a loaf of home made bread, let’s indulge in our LOCKDOWN MIDSUMMER HOME FUNDRAISER.
It’s not too late to organise your own fundraiser. If you are not shielding and the sun is shining, you could even invite a neighbour or two to join you. Spend time indulging in a treat – anything that you really cherish and enjoy.
We can’t put a price on happiness and indulgence, but decide for yourself how much this precious treat is worth to you. If you bank online, transfer the money to the church account with your name and the reference ‘MIDSUMMER FUNDRAISER’ or alternatively send us a cheque, made payable to St James Road Methodist Church with an accompanying note explaining it is for the Midsummer Fundraiser.
