What do we have to offer?
St James Road Methodist Church is an ideal venue to hold your event. With a variety of rooms seating between 5-150 people, there is a room to suit every small to medium sized event. To the rear of the building we have our very own private car park that can hold around 35 cars with plenty of space in the adjacent roads. We have free WiFi throughout the whole building, making sure that you are well connected!

We have 2 halls at SJR affectionately referred to as Hall A and Hall B.
Hall A is a medium sized hall that can seat 150 people and also doubles as a fully equipped sports hall with a badminton court, basketball hoops and 5 a side goals. It is conveniently located next to the Kitchen making it perfect for children’s parties and receptions!
Our second hall (Hall B) is located upstairs and is capable of seating up to 100 people. It is ideal for medium sized committee meetings. It has it’s own kitchen and toilet facilities.
We have three medium sized rooms that could be used for meetings with 10-30 people. They are known as The Parlour, Primary and Beginners room. These rooms are currently used for exercise classes and other small meetings. The Beginners and Primary room are located next to specially made toilet facilities for young children.
We have three small rooms in the church where groups of fewer than 10 people can meet. Two of these rooms are upstairs and the choir vestry is downstairs. These are ideal for quiet discussions such as reading groups.
