CATCH started as a small group of students and young adults (loosely aged 18-25) from St James Road Methodist Church, but has since become popular with students and young adults in the local area and has in turn grown into a group of multi-denominational individuals.
What do we do?
We meet on a weekly basis to share how the Christian faith benefits our lives, we explore our faith and knowledge. We learn from each other and with the help of the bible and books in an informal setting as a house group.
CATCH also meets occasionally for socials to allow the group to form friendships, an example of this is the below video which shows our recent trip to the New Forest for a CATCH camping weekend. We are also going to Spring Harvest next year. However we usually will do smaller social gatherings on a more regular basis which are optional to attend.
When and where do we meet?
Thursday nights from 7pm. Hosted by various members in Southampton area. Typically in Upper Shirley.
If you are interested in joining us for a session or would like to meet at a New Song Cafe service with us first, then please feel free to email one of our two student liaisons and they will be very happy to chat or give info.
