Our Advent Carol Service at St. James Road Methodist Church is on Sunday evening 3rd December at 6.30 pm. This is a special service, starting with the church in darkness as the choir process into the church with lighted candles singing the great Advent Hymn ‘O come, O come Immanuel’. Further music and readings by an augmented choir to mark the start of our Christmas Season. The organist will be Paul Isted (formerly Romsey Abbey). Please come and join us to sing some of the great hymns of Advent and hear the good news of the birth of Jesus.
